San Juan | Sunday, Mar 24, 2024 | Sunday, Mar 24, 2024 |
San Juan, Puerto Rico, is an old city of cobblestone streets, colonial architecture and shaded courtyards. It reflects its Spanish past in such famous fortresses as El Morro and San Cristobal. San Juan is also a modern world capital -- a cosmopolitan metropolis of wide boulevards, lively cafes and highly regarded shops and galleries. San Juan is two unique destinations -- and you'll be fascinated by them both.
Gustavia | Monday, Mar 25, 2024 | Monday, Mar 25, 2024 |
There was never any hope of lucrative sugar plantations in St.Barths. It was too dry, too steep, too rocky, and, finally, too small. Unsuitable for agriculture, the island was never coveted as a prize during the colonial wars of the 18th century. The place had a serviceable harbor, and this allowed the town that grew around it, Gustavia, to play a key role in that intermittent conflict, a role that was to presage much of its future. Overflowing warehouses surrounded a harbor packed with ships from many nations, and a mercantile and architectural tradition was established that has lingered to the present day. Today, Gustavia has adjusted itself to satisfy the increasing number of visiting tourists. Restaurants, boutiques, and gift shops now line streets once busy with merchants, merchant seamen, and adventurers.
St. John's, Antigua | Tuesday, Mar 26, 2024 | Tuesday, Mar 26, 2024 |
The skyline of St. John's, the capital and largest city of Antigua and Barbuda, is dominated by the magnificently evocative white baroque towers of St. John's Cathedral. Built in 1845, the church is now in its third incarnation, as earthquakes in 1683 and in 1745 destroyed the previous structures. The towers are the first sight of Antigua for about half of the island's visitors each year, many of whom arrive by boat. St. John's is a lively hub for shopping and dining.
St. Thomas (Charlotte Amalie) | Wednesday, Mar 27, 2024 | Wednesday, Mar 27, 2024 |
There are many ways to hunt for treasure in St. Thomas. You can discover its historic wealth in such places as the birthplace of painter Camille Pissarro or the infamous Bluebeard's Tower. Its sporting riches are tennis, golf, sailing and incredible beaches. Beneath its crystal-clear waters, you'll find coral gardens and shimmering schools of jewel-colored fish. Its fortune of earthly treasures can be found in the many shops of Charlotte Amalie, where savings on jewels, crystal, perfume and fine wines will arouse your hunting instincts.
Puerto Plata | Thursday, Mar 28, 2024 | Thursday, Mar 28, 2024 |
At the northernmost point of the country, Puerto Plata is surrounded by majestic mountain ranges and the Atlantic Ocean. The entire shore is known as the Amber Coast, named for rich deposits of the lustrous stone. Surrounded by beautiful mountain ranges and the sparkling Atlantic Ocean, Puerto Plata offers a great vacation in the Caribbean! The town bustles with shops, restaurants and patio cafes. It's a nice blend of cultures and architecture for an ideal Caribbean vacation.

Nassau | Saturday, Mar 30, 2024 | Saturday, Mar 30, 2024 |
You'll recall sunning and strolling on a seemingly endless white sand beach. Or relaxing in the shade of coconut palms. You'll remember the crystal-clear water and the multicolored tropical fish. And you'll certainly recollect the graceful gestures of the uniformed "bobbies" directing traffic in the bustling downtown. Nassau will delight you in many ways. With its colorful Colonial architecture. With the warmth of its people. And with the infectious music of steel drums. It's very likely you'll leave this happy place with lots of duty-free gifts and mementos and at least one straw hat.

Review: We have been on many sailings with RSSC and this was one of the best. The staff was friendly and professional, the food was excellent and the destination team did a fantastic job with the shore excursions.
Small ship and less passengers
Pros: Small ship and less passengers
Cons: Only one late show per evening. We felt rushed with the excursions. Of course, we could have stayed aboard the ship.
Review: Beautiful ship. Crew was outstanding. Food was plentiful with many different types. Evening entertainment was only OK. The dancers/singers were great, but the other acts were less than stellar. The use of the port tenders were very organized. We were disappointed that, due to weather, one of our ports of call had to be skipped. We would’ve liked to seen Port Vendres. We were disappointed in ?zmir, Turkey. I have no interest in seeing that again.
The planning, management and staff professionalism was excellent.
Pros: The planning, management and staff professionalism was excellent.
Cons: NA.

Very elegant ship, and crew members were excellent
Pros: Very elegant ship, and crew members were excellent
Cons: Did not like the excursion to Acapulco
Review: Excursion to the clif divers was ok, however, when leaving the each diver was agressively asking for tips. The rest of the excursion was in the buss and in the city which was not at all interesting. Most people on the excursion were saying that it was a bad excursion.
This was the best trip ever! We loved the wonderful, consistent service; the loveliness of the ship’s decor and our beautiful suite.
Pros: This was the best trip ever! We loved the wonderful, consistent service; the loveliness of the ship’s decor and our beautiful suite.
Cons: None
Review: I can’t say enough about this experience. World class ship, world class service. The attention to detail never wavered. I felt cared for and appreciated. Staff always has a smile on. Their face and greet you when they see you. Their training must be excellent. We especially loved our bartender, Alex, in the Splendor Lounge. We saw him nightly and he was friendly and made the best Cosmo I’ve ever had. Also special was Melvin in LeGrande restaurant. He went out of his way to get me the kind of coffee I liked. Kudos to the staff!
Unmatched service and amenities
Pros: Unmatched service and amenities
Cons: Internet connectivity was not great in the Caribbean

Wonderful ship, best size, super employees and fully inclusive
Pros: Wonderful ship, best size, super employees and fully inclusive
Cons: Need to work on Regent app for excursions. Spotty at best but a great idea for not only hearing impaired like me but as a better way to communicate for alll
Review: This was our fourth cruise with Regent and have four more booked. For us it was pure luxury, from great food to top of the line amenities, to thoughtful and pleasant employees. Not cheap but well worth the cost.
Very large bathroom in the stateroom, with two sinks.
Pros: Very large bathroom in the stateroom, with two sinks.
Cons: No Cons
Review: Great ship. Stateroom was excellent with very large bathroom. Bathroom had two sinks, a tub and a separate shower. Overall, larger than many hotels. Dining was excellent, no matter where you dines. Pacific Rim restaurant was the weakest of the three specialty restaurants.
Service, food, large comfortable suites, ship decor, attention to detail on every level.
Pros: Service, food, large comfortable suites, ship decor, attention to detail on every level.
Cons: The area around the pool and the sun deck above although beautiful are a bit too congested especially on sea days. If you appreciate "high tea at sea" this one is not as ample as it could be.
Review:

Ambience, decor, staff, walk in closet, food
Pros: Ambience, decor, staff, walk in closet, food
Cons: Excursions

Pros: Beautiful decor, clean, friendly and well trained staff, good meals
Cons: No Cons
Review: Regent's newest ship lives up to our expectations. Even with the Covid protocols, everything ran smoothly and we were quite comfortable. We liked the new venues for a few of the specialty restaurants. Staff was excellent and always willing to help.
There simply aren’t enough superlatives to describe experiences on this beautiful ship.
