#6 Pontresina
St. Moritz is world famous but Pontresina, four miles to the west, is an authentic Engadine village in a beautiful setting with painted houses and meandering streets. We much prefer it.
The town is a center for walking, hiking, and mountaineering with many miles of marked trails.
Top Sights:
- Muttas Muragl, a high ground (8,000 feet) above the valley with many walking paths and fine views

- Take a walk through the Tais forest
- Go shopping in St. Moritz
